Kianda School was honoured to welcome Fr. Javier, the Vicar General of Opus Dei, during his recent visit to Kenya. His visit to the school was a moment of joy and reflection for the entire school community.
The School Academic Council warmly received Fr. Javier and led him on a guided tour of the school. The visit began with a symbolic lighting of a candle to Our Lady of Wisdom at the high school building patio, a gesture that reflected the school’s commitment to faith and learning.
Fr. Javier then visited several classrooms, where he was greeted by students. One high school student delivered a heartfelt welcome message, expressing the joy of the school in hosting such an esteemed guest. He also spent time with the primary section, meeting the younger pupils and sharing in their enthusiasm.
The visit concluded with a group photo alongside the School Academic Council, followed by a brief meeting where Fr. Javier received updates on the school’s ongoing initiatives and developments.
