This year marked a thrilling milestone for Kianda School as it participated for the first time in the renowned World Scholars Cup, hosted at Greensteds International School in Nakuru. The prestigious academic event brought together over 1000 students from both junior and secondary schools across the region, with Kianda taking over 100 girls.
The competition challenged students with a wide range of activities, including essay writing, collaborative group work, dynamic debates, and rigorous exams. Each segment tested not only academic knowledge but also critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity.
Kianda School made a remarkable debut, with our girls scooping multiple awards, trophies, and even a few alpaca mascots, a fun and symbolic tradition of the World Scholars Cup. Their outstanding performance is a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and passion for learning.
“It was an incredible experience. We pushed ourselves and had so much fun while doing it,” shared one of the students, proudly donning her medals and the signature alpaca on her head.
The excitement is palpable among the girls, who are already looking forward to the next level of the competition. Their success has not only brought pride to the school but has also ignited a spark for future scholarly excellence.
We congratulate our scholars for their outstanding performance and can’t wait to see what they achieve next!
