On 11th February, our school hosted the Kiswahili Interclass Public Speaking Contest, an event that brought together students from different classes to celebrate eloquence, critical thinking, and confidence in language expression.
The theme of this year’s contest, “Hatua ya leo huunda kesho dhabiti” (Today’s actions build a stronger tomorrow), challenged participants to reflect deeply on personal responsibility, discipline, and intentional decision-making in shaping the future. The speakers delivered powerful speeches that demonstrated maturity of thought, relevance to the theme, and a strong command of Kiswahili.
We are proud to congratulate Tracey Mwangi (Form 3), who emerged as the overall winner of the contest. Her speech stood out for its depth, eloquence, and compelling delivery.
Congratulations to all participants for their courage and excellent performances.
