What other formation apart from academic is offered in Kianda School?

The all-round education given at Kianda embraces all aspects of the person’s development and growth: intellectual, spiritual and human formation.  The aim of this formation is to enable the students to discover who they are, their talents and capabilities. We mould students to acquire virtues which include, striving for excellence, sense of commitment, hard work, upright moral living, team spirit, concern and care for all, service to others, respect, sincerity, honesty, freedom and responsibility among others. Each student is assigned a tutor who assists them through friendly sessions to achieve this in collaboration with their parents.

Why parenting courses?

The parenting courses offered in Kianda school help in family development. The courses content is tailored in level to assist parent’s nurture their daughter in every stage of human development.

The School believes in working closely with the parents in the formation of their daughters and in building better relationships between them. Courses and seminars are organized by experienced parents and family educators in order to support parents/guardians in this task. These courses and seminars cover current societal issues particularly around the family. School events also give parents and daughters this opportunity.
